Description

WWI Steyr-Mannlicher M1895 (Steyr M95) bolt action straight pull rifle. Marked on the receiver with Austro-Hungarian Army stamps and dated 1917. Austro-Hungary forces fought along side Germany during the first world war with the aim of increasing its territorial ambitions. In 1930 most M95 rifles were converted to the more powerful 8x56R M30 ammunition and marked with the letter "S" on the receiver ring.
