SOLD Deactivated WWII German K98 Rifle . An early war production dated 1940, makers code 42 (Mauser). A good example of a rifle that has seen lots of action. The German's devised these makers codes to prevent Allied intelligence from discovering the manufacturing locations. The codes of many companies contracted to build and supply parts and weapons was changed as the war progressed. This example is covered in Nazi Waffenamt stamps with no Russian capture markings. The K98 was the standard rifle issued rifle to German troops, and was used throughout WWII on all fronts. Available with bayonet & scabbard (not included in the price) This example is Deactivated to current specifications with cycling bolt and moving trigger but not able to be dry fired. Comes with correct deactivation certificate and sling. It is 70% matching numbers with the bolt and trigger housing non matching. SOLD
