This is an original 1970/80s era East German Volkspolizei Police Service Uniform Hat/Cap. This example is in very good condition with minor wear. It has a few small moth holes in the green piping but apart from that’s its in very good condition. Please see photos for condition. These hats popped up all over East Germany but were made famous as almost all the Berlin Wall soldiers and officers were issued with these caps. This examples is in a size 55/56.his examples still has its original tissue in the inside of the cap.
