This is an original French Army 1888 Dated Gunners Quadrant. This example is in very good condition all round with minor wear. There is no major damage to the item and all the items attached work. This example is over 136 years old and is still in working order. It is French military marked with MLE. It is made from brass with a few steel fittings. It has some wear to one of the corners this is pictured. These items were used throughout France’s campaigns from ww1 to ww2 and most were even used up until the 1950/60s. This example is also serialised with all numbers matching.
