WW1 Royal Artillery 1914 Hallmarked Hollow Silver RA Brooch
Description

A scarce First World War period 'Royal Artillery sweetheart brooch', hollow silver oblong example ornamented with floral decoration, mounted with a Crowned artillery gun badge, 'Ubique' (Everywhere) scroll above and 'Quo fas et gloria ducunt' (Wherever right and glory lead) scroll below; the reverse bearing Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1914 and maker's details "C&S" and "QMS". Good condition with original fittings, the clasp is very stiff to open and could do with some adjustment.
