WWI Webely & Scott MKIII Flare Pistol, dated 1915. Still in amazing original condition. Dated 1915 with broad arrow acceptance markings. In 1915 Webley only produced 22,104 flare pistols for the British War Department with the vast majority having gone to war and been lost or damaged. The serial number of this one is 19,024. They were used to signal, along with whistles when ordering soldiers to leave the trenches and go "over the top". A must have for the WW1 collector. Would make a great addition to any collection. Deactivated with a working action it can be cocked, stripped and dry fired. It comes with it's deactivation certificate. Better photos to come.
