WWII German LP-42 flare / signal pistol
Description

This is an original WWII German LP-42 flare / signal pistol, Luftwaffe issued. The secret makers code "euh" is that of Metallwarenfabrik C.u. W. Meinel. It still retains some of its original grey wartime finish and has its cherry Bakelite grips and lanyard hoop. The hammer does have a very strong action and would be difficult to cock in the confines of a bomber. The LP-42 was used in a variety of rolls with German ground and air forces. This example strips, cocks and dry fires. It comes with its correct deactivation certificate.
